DAVE KERSHAW
7th Dan S.K.I.E.F
Sensei Dave Kershaw is a former senior
Shotokan Karate International European Federation (SKIEF)
instructor, with 40 years karate experience. He is one of Hanshi Shiro
Asano's most senior students in Great Britain, and in August 2011
became one of only three karate-ka in the world to be graded to Nanadan (7th Dan black
belt) by Hanshi Asano
9th dan.
He has also trained extensively with Kancho Hirokazu Kanazawa 10th
dan.
A professional karate instructor for over 30 years, he has taught
at many dojo's throughout the U.K. and abroad.
He was
a record six times consecutive S.K.I. British Kata Champion
and has represented Great Britain at many European and World
Championships, reaching the Men's kumite finals in the 1991 S.K.I.F.
World Championship, Mexico City.
He is also
a qualified S.K.I. International Referee.
Sensei Kershaw is available for courses
in
Gt. Britain or Abroad.
